What are the steps then?
Before planning an implant surgery our doctors make an oral and facial inspection of you. They will examine all details about your medical conditions and health history. If your medical condition requires a non-surgical procedure to restore your oral health then our doctors will explain to you the risks and they will take the non-surgical road for your safety. In most medical conditions as implants imitate the tooth, they are the healthiest options.
If you are suitable for an implant, a 3D tomography scan will be taken so that our team can examine your bones, teeth and other tissues in three dimensions. After that, they will plan how many implants you need, what type of implants are suitable for you and where to place them. In every step, you will be in collaboration with our doctors so you won’t miss out on anything.
After deciding where, which and how many implants will be used, our team will prepare you for the surgery. Local anaesthesia will be used to make the operation area numb so you won’t feel any pain during the procedure.
How long does it take?
Depending on the complexity of the area and the number of the implants it usually takes 1-2 hours to put them. After the surgery, the area might get swollen for a few days and slight pain is normal. Painkillers and related medications will be prescribed for you after the surgery for your best.
